Lagaria Hotel - Afytos

During my stay of 9 nights as a family, I appreciated the spacious deluxe room we had, which was equipped with three proper beds rather than fold-up ones, making our accommodation very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the local village center. One highlight was the superb breakfast options available, including a wide variety of cold and warm selections. I found that more sunbeds would have been great, especially during the hotter days when we wanted to relax by the pool and enjoy the sun.

I had a very pleasant stay here and would come here again. The breakfast was satisfactory, the room was beautifully presented and brand-new with a beautiful garden, modern design, as example, more than enough for the holiday. The staff was competent and responsive, offered wake up service and ironing free of charge. The location was strategic: shops and a supermarket were within walking distance. Plus the hotel was close to restaurants and bars...

We had this amazing service from the pool staff. One day, the waiter overheard us talking about wanting a local recommendation and he personally took us to a beach a bit off the main path, it was perfect, really made our day.

It was a bit pricey but nothing I couldn't handle, still worth it.

Well appointed hotel, it deserves its 4 stars. The staff are friendly attentive and the room is brand-new exactly like in the pictures. Thank you for a very nice stay: )

Satisfactory choice for breakfast. Comfortable bed, reasonably spacious bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and an individual safe in the room. Location near to the centre, restaurants and shops and cafes and a beautiful garden...

A decent walk to the nearest beach, especially uncomfortable in the heat. Music at the pool bar was repetitive and too loud. The availability of sunbeds could be better during peak hours, and while parking is available, there's an extra fee that seems unnecessary.

The pool area, with its clean, non-chlorinated water, was a refreshing escape during the hot afternoons, and the gym offered a nice touch for staying active. I especially loved the self-service breakfast with good Greek yogurt and tasty pastries. The convenience of ample free parking made exploring the nearby beaches easy.

Some issues with cleanliness popped up. There was also a recurring complaint about the beds being too hard for comfort, not fitting everyone's preference. The distance to the nearest beach can feel quite far, especially under the scorching heat. Breakfast options, while extensive, occasionally had warm selections served cold, a letdown for many. The Wi-Fi connection wasn't reliable, with some areas experiencing poor reception, impacting connectivity .

This was just an optimal selection for a whistle-stop in Afytos with very good value for money. Room had a nice view of the pool and the staff were always ready to help with recommendations. Make sure to check the parking options around the area. Free spots are available nearby.

Couple's Perfect Escape

The staff were polite and helpful, especially Katia at the reception who guided us to some of the best spots in town. It's only a short walk to the village, filled with cozy restaurants and charming bakeries!

It wasn't the cheapest stay but worth every penny.

The triple room was spacious and very clean, and we loved the well-maintained pool area. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with a great selection to cater to everyone's tastes. The espresso machine in our room was a nice touch!

The additional parking fee was a bit unexpected.
